Biography
Ademola Emiloju is a lawyer with E&T Legal. His focus is in the areas of Family, Divorce, Real Estate, Immigration, Wills, Trust and Estate.
He was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. He went to law school at the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom and in 2014 received a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B). While in Law School he was instrumental in the creation of the Model United Nations Society, and served as treasurer on the society’s board. He attended the 2014 London International Model United Nations Conference in London.
He pursued and completed his National Committee on Accreditation requirements (NCA) for a Canadian equivalence between 2015 - 2017 at the University of Toronto. After his NCA, Ademola Articled with a boutique Law firm in the Calgary region. While articling he Volunteered with the Elizabeth Fry Society providing legal assistance to low-income individuals in Calgary. He also gained experience in the areas of Divorce, Criminal Law, Immigration, Real Estate, Wills and Estates. He was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 2019.
Ademola represents clients before administrative tribunals, the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta and the Federal Court of Canada. He always attempts to resolve all matters through settlement conferences, mediation or Judicial Dispute Resolution; however, he will not shy away from challenging cases that require Court applications.
He is an active member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association and the Calgary Bar Association.
In his spare time, Ademola enjoys playing Football, traveling, and exploring the city of Calgary and surrounding areas.
